Dragon - The Bruce Lee Story

STORY / GAMEPLAY
The Master System and Game Gear versions are platform / beat'em up games rather than a One-Vs-One fighting game as on the SNES, Genesis and Jaguar. You control Bruce Lee and fight through an environment loosely based on the film of the same name. There is a good variety of martial arts moves you can use in the game and there's also a 2 players mode so a friend can join with a second controller. To pull off a regular punch you must hold the directional pad left or right towards your opponents and press the second button. Hold up and press the second button for a kick and buttons one and two for a jump kick.

GRAPHICS / SOUND
The game's graphics are Very impressive and although things look a little hazy at times, the overall picture quality is very detailed, especially on the final graveyard stages. The regular enemies aren't much more detailed than Bruce Lee himself and they have very smooth animation and non-choppy looking moves. But in contrast to its great visuals, the sound is mediocre. Like most Game Gear games, this one doesn't differ much in sound or music. The menu themes are based on cheesy martial arts movie style and the in-game sound effects are a bit simplistic.
